2019 is underway, which means a number of new Harley-Davidson® models have been rolled out for the year. Between 2019 and 2021, the brand will be debuting a modular 500cc to 1,250cc middleweight platform of motorcycles. For those looking to start fresh with a new bike, here's a guide.
The All-new LiveWire™
Coming in August of 2019, the electric LiveWire™ gears up from 0 to 60 in under 3.5 seconds. With no clutch release or running through gears, riders will be able to take off with the flick of a wrist. Its acceleration partially comes from a high-voltage battery, meaning plenty of range and torque will be available to commuters and joy riders alike. This electric bike can be conveniently charged in any standard household outlet and will charge completely overnight.
The Pan America™
Classified as an "adventure touring motorcycle," the Pan America™ will be making its debut in 2020. With this new bike, Harley has made a venture into the ADV bike world. The company has, unfortunately, kept many details about the bike under wraps, but it's a name to keep an eye on as 2019 continues.
Future Streetfighter Model
Also planned for a 2020 release, a new expansion to the Harley-Davidson® line of middleweight models is coming. Although Harley hasn't provided many concrete details, they've promised ample amounts of agility and performance, as well as style. Many speculate that the new model will feature a 60-degree V-twin with an integrated gearbox, but fans will have to wait for more concrete details from the brand itself.
2021 1250cc Custom
Making its way to the streets no earlier than 2021, the future custom model will be a more muscular bike featuring the aggressive, stripped-down styling that Harley is so well known for. With 1250cc of "pure performance" coming out of its tubular chassis, it's no wonder Harley fans are anxiously awaiting more information about this model.
In the next few years, Harley enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on a number of new models. But there's no reason to wait that long!
