A Little History... In 1972 The Petitto's re-mortgaged their home to finance a building on land purchased under land contract. John Petitto and two of his students from the Jackson Community College assembled the steel building in January of 1973 in 5 degree weather. | John's wife, Cheryl opened the store in the mornings until John came in after school to do the repair work. Upon opening in March there was no electricity for the first three days and no toilets for the first year! |

When awarded the Harley-Davidson franchise in 1975, we were required to order an initial parts package of $4000. Cheryl looked at John and said, “Where in heaven’s name are we going to get the money?”. Luckily, HD was forced to back-ordered most of the parts and business carried on. | The Family began a 30+ year relationship with Harley-Davidson. Through thick and thin, it has always been the customers that make the business worth running. Thank you! |
